Paranda or parandi is a symbol of love which a bride to be gets from her husband and she braids it in her hair as a token of love. As a Punjabi tradition, the bride dances wearing the paranda while she weaves her love in her husband’s heart. Now days, paranda is also worn as a decorative piece for non-married girls.
